Hi,
I live in a fairly rural area. I back up to farm land.
I have had an ever increasing issue with mice and rats in my home. This year seems to be the worse. I want to remove the pests, but I want to avoid use of poison if at all possible. So far bucket traps, sticky traps, and snap traps have been hit or miss.
Can someone recommend some additional methods on how to help reduce the population in/around the home? A cat is not an option, as I'm not home enough right now (lots of travel due to work). I don't mind continuing to utilize the existing tools I've had, I just feel that it's not particularly efficient. I've yet to catch a rat, but I see a lot of evidence of something larger than a mouse getting into stuff.
